Clever Undercover Disguises and Sneaky Turkey Fun with Disguise a Turkey Sheets

One of the most popular and funny creative traditions in elementary classrooms, the Disguise a Turkey project challenges children to give Tom the Turkey a clever costume so he can safely blend in and skip Thanksgiving dinner. This high-energy humor collection gives kids complete artistic freedom to transform a simple turkey outline into an undercover master of disguise.

Secret Agent Blacks, Astronaut Silvers, and Superhero Neons

Because every turkey is undercover as someone entirely different, you can use any wild color scheme your imagination invents. You can dress an astronaut turkey in sleek spacesuit white, metallic silver, and reflective cyan helmet visors, or outfit a superhero turkey in bold royal blue with a fluttering crimson cape.

Classic cartoon disguises offer endless creative fun. You can color a ballerina turkey with a fluffy pastel pink tutu, disguise a pizza delivery turkey in red-and-white checkered aprons with golden pizza slices, or dress a sneaky detective turkey in a tan trench coat and dark fedora hat. Don’t forget to leave tiny hints of brown feathers and an orange beak peeking out from behind the disguise.

A Beloved School Project That Sparks Creative Problem Solving

Originally inspired by popular children’s storybooks, the Disguise a Turkey activity has become a beloved Thanksgiving school tradition that combines humor, storytelling, and hands-on crafting.

Working on these printable disguise sheets gives kids a delightful, imaginative project to complete at home or in class. Children can draw extra props like sunglasses, fake mustaches, and tool belts directly onto the turkey, turning a seasonal coloring page into an entertaining problem-solving game that brings laughter to the entire family.
