Surprising Behind-the-Scenes Secrets of the Original Movie

• How the Iconic T-Rex Roar Was Actually Made: Sound designers did not use computers to synthesize the earth-shaking voice of the giant carnivore. Instead, they recorded and blended the high-pitched trumpet of a baby elephant, the low growl of an adult tiger, and the hiss of an alligator.
• The Secret Behind the Vibrating Water Cup: The famous scene where ripples in a glass of water signal heavy approaching footsteps was created simply by attaching a real guitar string beneath the vehicle dashboard and plucking it to create circular ripples in rhythm.
• The Frilled Spitting Dinosaur Was a Movie Invention: In real-world paleontology, the dinosaur known as Dilophosaurus did not possess an expandable neck frill and could not spit blinding venom. Filmmakers added these imaginative features purely to heighten the suspense and surprise for theater audiences!
